Golden Yarrow ( Eriophyllum Confertiflorum )  Golden Yarrow can be found in many different plant communities. Ranging from woodlands to grasslands to chaparral. This is a native shrub that grows anywhere from 1-3 feet tall. The leaves are sharply lobed and divided. The top of each stem has a flower cluster of up to 30 flower heads. Golden Yarrow is tolerant to cold weather, as well as drought deciduous. Coast Live Oak ( Quercus Agrifolia) Coast Live Oak is an evergreen tree that can grow anywhere from 40 -70 feet tall. The Coast Live Oak is the dominant tree in the coastal oak woodland plant community. It has a simple, alternate leaf pattern. The underside of the leaves have tufts of hair.
